Jane Stroucken
Jane is a Programme Manager at INFITX with Management Advancement Program Certification (MAP) from Wits Business School, SAFe SPC
She has delivered projects focused on Fintech across Africa and APAC and is passionate about understanding the divergent needs of people across the globe. Her career has been centred on the strategic and delivery level to transform communities disadvantaged in digital finance using collaborative teams to achieve the outcomes
Jane started the TIPS (Tanzanian Instant Payment System) project in collaboration with the Bank of Tanzania. She worked with BoT to train and facilitate the bank's engineers and project team to work on the open-source software. This collaboration enabled the Bank to finalise the development and launch the live system in Feb 2022.
In Myanmar a similar deployment is taking place with focus on loan repayment and disbursement. Accelerated by the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic by highlighting the need for all people to safely have access to digital finance, WynePay is being delivered in collaboration with the Thitsaworks team in Myanmar.
The Visa Accelerator Program selected INFITX as one of 5 participants in this opportunity to develop a POC with Visa and showcase the talent and capability of our teams. Jane again coordinated and managed the delivery of the POC with the Visa team and was part of the presentation on the final Demo Day.
